Podcast of the week
24 Sep 2023
Due to financial constraints, 5 May 2019 saw our final 'on-air' radio broadcast. Hear CFRA announcement. Our weekly programs will now be published on-line only, on this page of GNCM.ca and on our podcast page, on Twitter, on our Blog and on Facebook, where listeners will also be able to review a wealth of historical podcasts from our extensive library going back to the very early days with Rev. Dr. Allen Churchill. We thank all of our faithful donors, who have kept us on the air for the last 20-years. Sadly, radio broadcasting has become relatively expensive compared with on-line venues. We do hope that you will continue to follow us in these other formats. Thanks again and God Bless you! |

We are more than delighted to welcome back Rev. Brent Russett, pastor of Asbury Free Methodist Church in Perth. Brent delivered many broadcast talks (see our archives), and we will now be podcasting his sermons at Asbury beginning 7 May. Some of you may have noticed there was no podcast Sunday, 5 June 2022. After posting almost every broadcast /podcast for years, it is a great personal disappointment to me that I would have forgotten to do so, and not noticed till the following week. But it was a sign; hence this message. The fact is I have not been physically well in recent weeks. I have been diagnosed with Pleural Mesothelioma, a cancer which you don't recover from. I am watching myself become less efficient and reliable as the weeks pass, and am in some physical discomfort. The cancer results from asbestos exposure aboard Royal Navy ships in the 60's. I have completed chemotherapy, which has been successful in shrinking the tumour, but that probably won't help my efficiency. Posting these wonderful sermons has been a vital ministry for me and I will continue as long as possible. - Tony |
