Good News Christian Ministries ... was founded in 2004 by the Reverend Dr. Allen Churchill under its former name of “The Allen Churchill Christian Ministries.” His concept of 'Bringing Christ to the Nation' via weekly radio broadcasts from Canada’s capital was one of a number of initiatives which arose following the Billy Graham Mission to Ottawa in 1998. He began broadcasting in 1999 from Ottawa radio station 580 CFRA on Sunday mornings.
Dr. Churchill retired from the broadcast team and established a very capable team of local clergy to maintain this ministry. Rev Dr. Allen Churchill died on 16 December 2017, peacefully, but after a long illness. His legacy to all of us lives on in the podcasts of his programs, accessible through this website. November, 2023 Dear Friends, All of us at GNCM are mourning the passing of Tony Copple on October 9, at the age of 82. Tony has been the backbone of GNCM for many years serving on the Board in various positions, and he has been the webmaster and curator of all the sermons and messages that have been posted here. Tony's dedication and enthusiasm for this ministry will be greatly missed. We wait upon the resurrection to enjoy his friendship and encouragement again. GNCM is no longer a registered charity, and we are not accepting any further donations. We will try to continue to continue Tony's work of posting Gospel messages here as long as we have the capacity to do so. May 2019 Dear Listeners, Good News in the Morning will no longer be able to continue on-air CFRA broadcasts, every Sunday at the 6:30 – to 7:00 am time slot. But we are delighted to continue this valuable weekly ministry on-line as a Christian podcast library at: GNCM.ca. We thank you our loyal Listeners for 20-years of radio support --- and we hope that you’ll tune into our on-line format, to continue enjoying our weekly Gospel messages on this site, our blog, or Twitter. Please send your comments to GNCM.ca - See 'Contact.' May the Lord Jesus bless you and keep you in the palm of His hands! The current broadcasters include George Sinclair, Brian Wilkie, Dave Kemp and the late Don Crisp. We receive feedback from listeners around the world. We can truly say that we are 'Bringing Christ to the World' with a world vision and mission. Please join our listener band! The purpose and work of Good News Christian Ministries must be to the sole glory of, and accountable only to, the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the incarnate God who came into the world for its salvation and for the fulfillment of the original purpose of salvation, namely the meaningfulness of life and the joy of personal relationships with God and his children.
The universe created by God has gone astray under the influence of the sin of humankind, which has caused a spiritual, moral, and physical dilemma that needs to be reversed by means of redemption and renewal. This saving work has begun and is continuing by means of God's presence and power in the persons of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. The authoritative message of salvation and new life is found in the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. The Bible is the authoritative Word of God written and against which all ministry must be tested. All life must be lived and all ministry must be undertaken by means of prayer. We continually seek the will and power of God for our lives and all decisions made in conducting this ministry. The integrity of character required for this work will be based on an ongoing and ever-deepening prayer life. |

God is in charge and will do whatever He wants to do.
The world is not as sensible as it thinks it is. He only reveals some things to us (Deut 29:29).
We as Christians are the aroma of Christ to a world being saved. This is a world where some churches are dying. Only the transforming power of Jesus can save us.
